Ingredients:-
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 250 gms dark chocolate ( cut into cubes)
- 75 gms butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 tbsp curds
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup beetroot ( grated)
- Topping
- Chocolate frosting
- Chocolate chips, candy
Preparation method:-
- To make the muffins, preheat the oven to 180ÂșC. Line a muffin tray with 10 paper cases.
- Sieve flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and baking powder.
- Melt chocolate and butter. ( on a double boiler or microwave)
- Beat eggs and sugar in a large bowl till creamy .
- Add the chocolate mixture, curds, milk.
- Fold in the flour, add the grated beetroot and mix well.
- Spoon into the paper cases and bake for 25 minutes or until just springy to the touch. Allow to cool.
- Pipe chocolate frosting and Garnish with chocolate chips and candies.
