Narrated Abu Burda (RA) from his father from his grandfather that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Every Muslim has to give in charity."The people asked, "O Allah's Prophet! If someone has nothing to give, what will he do?" He said, "He should work with his hands and benefit himself and also give in charity (from what he earns)." The people further asked, "If he cannot find even that?" He replied, "He should help the needy who appeal for help." Then the people asked, "If he cannot do that?" He replied, "Then he should perform good deeds and keep away from evil deeds and this will be regarded as charitable deeds." (Bukhari)

Tart ( Eggless Desserts Recipe)

Cute and small, thick and crusty, tarts form a great base for desserts. They are usually made of flour, salt and butter, but ingredients like almonds might be added for a special touch. Rubbing the butter lightly with your fingertips while making tarts is an art that you can perfect with practice. Only ice-cold water should be added during preparation, else the butter will melt making it sticky. Tarts taste great by themselves, but they are also used in delicious recipes like strawberry tarts, fruity chocolate tarts and many more.

Science Reveals The Laziest Way To Better Your Mood And Maybe Your Relationship

Some people consider daydreaming a waste of time, but a new study has found that daydreaming about your significant other can boost your mood. It might even strengthen your relationship.
Fantasizing about your partner can increase feelings of love and connection toward that person, according to the U.K. study recently published in the journal Consciousness and Cognition.
"We are often reminded of the benefits of being present and living 'in the moment,'" Dr. Giulia Poerio, a psychologist at the University of Sheffield and the study's lead author, told The Huffington Post. "Our study shows that daydreaming about close others might be an effective way to make yourself feel better by mentally simulating contact with loved ones when it is not available in reality," she added.
The researchers randomly sent text messages throughout the day to 101 study participants -- both women and men, with an average age of 22. They were asked what they were daydreaming about at that moment and how they felt before and after their reverie.
The study found that daydreams unrelated to the person's significant other didn't seem to have any effect on the person's mood. But after daydreaming about their partners, participants who described their relationships as satisfying reported an elevated mood and a surge in feelings of love and connection. The better the relationship, the more enjoyment was derived from the daydreams.
Researchers concluded that daydreaming may serve as a temporary substitute for social interaction when we can't be with our loved ones.
"Daydreaming about close others may be an effective strategy to overcome negative social feelings in daily life, such as when feeling lonely or when separated from loved ones," Poerio said. "It's well established that interactions with loved ones can increase feelings of well-being, but our results suggest that the emotional benefit of others can also occur from our imagination."

Beautiful Hadith is about Allah

Ibn Abbas RA said: One day, I was riding behind the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) when he said, “O boy! I will instruct you in some matters. Be watchful of Allah (Commandments of Allah), He will preserve you. Safeguard His Rights, He will be ever with you. If you beg, beg of Him Alone; and if you need assistance, supplicate to Allah Alone for help. And remember that if all the people gather to benefit you, they will not be able to benefit you except that which Allah had foreordained (for you); and if all of them gather to do harm to you, they will not be able to afflict you with anything other than that which Allah had pre-destined against you. The pens had been lifted and the ink had dried up." (Tirmidhi)

Beautiful Hadith is about Rulers

Aishah RA reported: Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said, “When Allah desires good for a ruler, He appoints for him a sincere adviser who will remind him if he forgets and helps him if he remembers. Noninvasive Approach To Salvaging Limbs Helps Young Bone Cancer Patients

Date:

American Society Of Mechanical Engineers

The latest collaboration of doctors and mechanical engineers has produced a new type of prosthesis that stretches and lengthens damaged legs without the need for painful surgery and long periods of rehabilitation.

Dubbed the “bionic bone,” the noninvasive device has been used in the United States and England on victims of osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer that affects children and young adults. One form of limb salvage uses an external source of energy to move a spring embedded in soft leg tissue to stretch the limb, thus allowing the affected limb to grow at the same rate as the normal leg.

Doctors believe that the new device represent significant medical progress over traditional modular prosthetics, which require multiple surgeries for incremental leg lengthening resulting in long periods of rehab.

According to Mechanical Engineering magazine, which includes a report on the new types of prosthesis in the February 2004 issue, many orthopedic oncologists “are giving the noninvasive forms (of prosthesis) strong consideration because they limit the surgery and rehabilitation their young patients must endure.”
